Welcome to the new format of the PoultryTech newsletter! In the past, three separate editions were generated yearly with each one focused exclusively on automation, safety, or environmental management. The new format will now include a combination of articles to provide more timely and relevant information that is of interest to a broader cross-section of readers, as well as researcher spotlights and short news and information updates.
In addition, we will produce two print editions (in the spring and fall) that will be mailed to readers as usual, and then we are adding an electronic edition that will come out in the summer. The electronic edition will provide a synopsis of the ATRP research and outreach activities that are planned for the upcoming year, along with links to the ATRP website (www.atrp.gatech.edu) where readers can gather more information.
Our goal in implementing these changes is to be able to quickly report breaking news and provide timely updates on technologies and research activities that impact the industry. As always, we welcome your feedback and comments, and if you have any specific topic areas that you think should be included, we are always open to suggestions.
